Ana Maria uses partnerships with other programs to help provide holistic support to the clients and families served in the Breastfeeding program. Ana Maria collaborates with another non-profit, Cradles to Crayons, to provide gently used baby supplies, clothing, books and toys for all of the children in the client’s family. Ana Maria has also used the data collected to capture how many children clients have and their age ranges in order to secure Christmas gifts for each of the families in partnership with Jefferson University Hospital’s toy drive. Ana provides regular referrals for her clients to other programs and services they may need. Ana Maria makes regular referrals to St. Christopher’s Hospital Car Seat program, WIC, early intervention services and domestic violence services. Ana Maria’s vision is to work with the family in the first year of life to improve family communication and relationship dynamics in order to set up the family for success for years to come. Lastly, Ana Maria’s clients not only receive holistic support in the first year of their child’s life, but they show to have better breastfeeding outcomes than the national average!
