Today more than ever, vulnerable populations and communities throughout Greater Cleveland need access to reliable, high-quality, and high-performing social service programs and services. In order to ensure that organizations can more sustainably improve the lives of the individuals they serve, such programs and services, as well as the ongoing support that helps to make them possible, must be built on a bedrock of strategic decision making, outcomes data and beneficiary voice infusion.
At Saint Luke’s Foundation, we are proud to co-sponsor, along with the Baltimore, Maryland-based Superstar Foundation, a Superstar Award for 2017. This award recognizes the very best direct service staff in the field who distinguish themselves and their work by using data to adjust their service delivery approach while intentionally striving to build transformational relationships with those being served. It is intended to augment the financial compensation of high-performing human service professionals, while also serving as an example for others who are striving to improve their effectiveness. This award aligns well with the Foundation’s core value of Results: “Supporting, analyzing and utilizing outcome data to inform planning, decision-making and capacity building, and to reporting our findings.”
The Superstar Award is a $5,000 cash prize awarded to a deserving nominee in Cuyahoga CO.
The local winner will automatically be included as a finalist for the national Veronica Award.
