The Superstar Foundation is passionate about promoting transformative relationships in the social service sector. We believe the power of relationships can transform the lives of underserved and disenfranchised people.
The Superstar Foundation was founded in 2007 with a two-fold mission:
- To elevate an understanding in the social services sector of the importance of "transformational relationships," between direct service staff and the participants they serve, that we believe must be at the core of social services if long term outcomes are to be realized;
- To identify and elevate direct service practitioners who work with America’s most underserved individuals, families and communities using data to support their outcomes-focused practice.
The Foundation is lead by optimists who have contributed to improved lives and the evolution of the social service sector toward measurable evidence of impact. As the social service sector continues to progress towards better measurement of outcomes and the scaling of programs that have been proven to work, we believe that it is critical that the incredible and replicable achievements of those actually doing "the work" are not overlooked.
